Bathurst Region Vignerons Association (BRVA)BRVA formed in 1997 to promote the interests of the developing Bathurst Region wine industry. The major role for the Association is to represent the member’s interests by the sharing of information and resources, as well as a cohesive marketing approach of their products. One of BRVA’s early initiatives was the establishment in 1999 of the National Cool Climate Wine Show. Set up initially to provide a benchmark for Bathurst vignerons, it is now regarded as Australia’s pre-eminent show, and sets the standards to which all cool climate wine producers aspire. It continues in its role for Bathurst producers as evidenced by their medal achievement.
